Chairman of the Board

Mr. Gignac is President of G Mining Services Inc., a mining management and engineering firm. Mr. Gignac was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cambior Inc. from 1986 to 2006. Until it was acquired by IAMGOLD Corporation in November 2006, Cambior Inc. produced gold, niobium and bauxite in Québec and South America.

Mr. Gignac, who holds a doctorate in mining engineering, is also a director of Domtar Corporation, Franco-Nevada Corporation, Andean Resources and St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. Mr. Gignac has been Chairman of the Board of GMi since March 2009.
